The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
