The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
