The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
