The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
