The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
