The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 and produce sparks 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
