The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The Striking! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
