The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
