The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
