The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The Clatterer! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
