The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
