Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
