The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A flaming fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
