The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The terrible calamity! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
