The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
