Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Abundance diverts you, 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 You shall know. 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
