Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 until you visit the graves. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8
