Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 nay, again, you shall soon come to know. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 that you shall surely see Hell? 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
