Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, ye shall surely be asked of the delights. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
