Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God), 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 Nay! you shall soon know, 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
