Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, ye shall surely be asked of the delights. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
