Al-Takaathur
Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
