Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 till you reached the grave. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

Almighty God's Truth.
