Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 You shall know. 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
