Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
