Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 You shall know. 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 Indeed you will see hell. 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

Almighty God's Truth.
