Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
