Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 till you reached the grave. 2 Nay! You shall come to know! 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
