The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

3 verses, revealed in Mecca after Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh) before The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By Al-'Asr (the time). 1 the human being is doomed to suffer loss, 2 Except those who believe, and do good and enjoin truth on one another, and enjoin one another to bear with fortitude (the trials that befall). 3

God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Afternoon (Al-'Asr). Sent down in Mecca after Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh) before The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
