The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

3 verses, revealed in Mecca after Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh) before The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

CONSIDER the flight of time! 1 that man is surely in a state of loss, 2 Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy. 3

God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Afternoon (Al-'Asr). Sent down in Mecca after Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh) before The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
