The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
