9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 (It is) the kindled Fire of Allah, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 covered down upon them, 8 In extending columns. 9
True are the words of God the Almighty.
