The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in columns outstretched. 9
God the Almighty always says the truth.
