The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
