The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze), 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 (And) vaults them over 8 in towering columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
