The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 in endless columns! 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
