The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
