The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 (It is) the kindled Fire of Allah, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
