The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Did He not bring their stratagem to naught, 2 and send against them flocks of birds, 3 They hurled upon them stones of baked clay; 4 And He made them like eaten straw. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
