The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Did He not cause their war to end in confusion, 2 And He sent against them flights of birds 3 pelting them with stones of baked clay, 4 So He rendered them like straw eaten up? 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
