The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with the possessors of the elephant? 1 Did He not cause their schemes to go astray? 2 And He sent against them Flights of Birds, 3 Casting against them stones of baked clay, 4 And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle). 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
