O believers, devour not usury, doubled and redoubled, and fear you God; haply so you will prosper. 130 And fear the Fire prepared for the unbelievers, 131 Obey God and the Prophet, that you may be treated with mercy. 132 ۞ And vie with each other in hastening to obtain forgiveness from your Lord and toward the Garden whereof the width equalleth the heavens and the earth, gotten ready for the God-fearing 133 Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good;- 134 (Paradise) is also for those who, when committing a sin or doing injustice to themselves, remember God and ask Him to forgive their sins. Who can forgive sins besides God? And who do not knowingly persist in their mistakes? 135 Those! their meed is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens whereunder rivers flow; they shall be abiders therein. Excellent is the hire of the workers! 136 There have been examples before you. Journey in the land and see what was the fate of the liars. 137 Here is a plain statement to men, a guidance and instruction to those who fear Allah! 138 Faint not nor grieve, for ye will overcome them if ye are (indeed) believers. 139 If you get hurt, certainly others have also experienced injuries. We have made people pass through the different turns of history so that God would know the true believers, have some of you bear witness to the people's deeds, {God does not love the unjust} 140 And that Allah may purify the believers [through trials] and destroy the disbelievers. 141 Do you think that you will enter Paradise before Allah tests those of you who fought (in His Cause) and (also) tests those who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)? 142 You were longing for death before you met it; now you have seen it, while you were beholding. 143
