O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful. 130 And have fear of the Fire which awaits those who deny the Truth. 131 And pay heed unto God and the Apostle, so that you might be graced with mercy. 132 ۞ And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2). 133 Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good;- 134 And those who, if they commit a shameful act or some wrong against themselves, remember God and seek forgiveness for their sins: For who can forgive except God? They should not be perverse about their doings, knowingly. 135 Their reward will be forgiveness from their Lord and gardens wherein streams flow and wherein they will live forever. How blessed is the reward of those who labor. 136 Different traditions existed in the past. Travel in the land and find out about the fate of those who rejected the Truth. 137 This is an explanation for mankind, a guidance and an advice to the pious. 138 So do not become weak (against your enemy), nor be sad, and you will be superior (in victory) if you are indeed (true) believers. 139 If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) We give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those that believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks Martyr-witnesses (to Truth). And Allah loveth not those that do wrong. 140 and makes men go through trials in order that He might purge the believers and blot out those who deny the Truth. 141 Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast? 142 And certainly you desired death before you met it, so indeed you have seen it and you look (at it) 143
