Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 to those who make display 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
