Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
