Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7
