Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe to the worshippers 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
