Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7
