Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Have you considered him who calls the judgment a lie? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 to those who make display 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
