Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
